Colgate Optic White Toothpaste

December 6, 2019

Description

Colgate Optic White is a toothpaste that whitens teeth and is safe for enamel. Aside from whitening teeth, it also protects against stains and leaves breathe fresh. After brushing teeth for the recommended time, twice a day, for one week, users can expect to see results. The tube comes with 5 ounces of toothpaste and is sold on Amazon for $4.99.

Overview

The effectiveness of this whitening toothpaste is torn among users. Some claim it didn’t work at all, and others noticed a difference. Colgate does state results can be seen in as little as one week. It’s guaranteed to not provide irritation, however, some found it to be abrasive. The price is comparable to other toothpastes, but less can be used from Colgate Optic White’s concentrated formula.

Pros

Colgate Optic White Toothpaste may remove stains on teeth, where other products failed. Customers can choose from 6 types of Colgate Optic toothpaste. The different ones have different advantages such as how much hydrogen peroxide is used and which texture is preferred: mint or paste. This toothpaste shouldn’t be expected to provide the same results as whitening treatments, but it will gradually whiten over time. It can serve as a good maintenance toothpaste between whitening treatments.

Cons

Colgate Optic White isn’t the only whitening toothpaste Colgate is promoting. There is a Colgate Optic White Radiant that could defer some from choosing the original. The toothpaste is made with an enamel-safe whitening ingredient. However, the ingredients aren’t listed for customers to read. This challenges the quality of Colgate compared to other brands that proudly list all their ingredients.
